We got a small quart of vitamin D milk for DS. Up until recently he stopped drinking his WCM. I blamed it on teething.

I just sniffed the milk and it smelled like...eggnog or something. So I poured some in a cup and tasted it and it almost had an alcohol taste... But I spit it out immediately. It makes sense now why he was spitting it out all week.. . I'm going to have to test all milk from here on out... The expiration date was probably wrong and I feel so bad for giving that to him.

    That sucks! I usually taste test before... had a similar experience, however the milk was chunky... so it was a bit more obvious!

    That's really gross! I have issues...I smell everything before I eat or drink it, I don't care what the expiration date says! It's saved me a few times! Open milk spoils fast, in my opinion.

    I feel so bad because I opened it Sunday... And I realize it two days later. I kept trying to convince him to drink it too. Blegh! Lesson learned, always double check.
