Working moms- help! I need some advice/secrets on how to look less tired with less dark circles under my eyes. I normally have such a baby face but not lately.....
I know sleep and water are crucial. but anything else?????
Sorry for the vain post. Just noticing lately that I am looking pretty dull and tired.
Re: Secrets for working moms
Are you nursing? Hormones during nursing can do wierd things to your skin, making you look quite tired....
After I stopped nursing, my skin cleared up. (I was also not getting up in the middle of the night to feed or pump, so I had more sleep.)
I use a light moisturizer and powder foundation. MAC and Origins sell good products.
Also, fresh air really helps.
Good Luck!

I use this, too (and I have two bad sleepers, so I feel your pain). Also lots of water, as others have said. For concealer my favorite is the Almay SmartShade one in a little tube.
I drink tons of water, at least 4 liters a day. I work out an hour a day. I try to sleep at least 7 hours.
Other than that, quarterly chemical peels, good moisturizer and make up.
Aside from what PP's have mentioned I notice that I look less haggard and tired when I have my routines at home all together. When I have my things set out the night before and ready to go, I have more time to get rest, and put myself together. When I am running around trying to get everything packed and ready for the day, I tend to look more tired, even with the same amount of make up on. So, I try really hard to before I go to bed have everything packed and ready to go so in the morning I can focus on getting myself ready and looking my best.

Here too. I love going to the gym after a long day at work.
