  I didn't even buy a ring sling until DS was 6 months, and it's the carrier I'm most likely to still use with him because it's the best for a hip carry and an up/down toddler.

  You don't want to leave a newborn in a cradle hold; you can nurse that way, but get him upright after he's done eating to protect the airway.

  It's the only way I,be survived having my 2 boys.  I love my sip French twill rs.  Affordable and durable.  I still use it even with DS1
