So, when you lose your mucous plug, WHERE do you lose it? In your underwear? On the TP? In the toilet? can you feel it falling out when you're just sitting around?

Just curious. Gross, I know.

I lost mine when I was in labor at about 4 cm while I was going to the bathroom. I didn't feel it and my water hadn't broken yet.

I sneezed while on the toilet and lost it. I felt a gush that I hadn't experienced before. And there it was!

omg!! LOL out of four i've found mine twice both were on the TP the first one my dd was born almost exactily 12 hours later. I lost it a week and a half ago again on the TP

I'm pretty sure I lost it when my water broke, but I don't remember feeling it come out. I had been feeling very crampy that whole day, and by the time bedtime rolled around I absolutely could not find a comfy position. I thought maybe I had to go to the bathroom and when I went to sit down on the toilet -whoosh! My water broke. I remember looking in the toilet and seeing murkyish water with "floaties" in it - I am assuming the floaties were remnants of my mucous plug.

I lost a piece of it yesterday, it fell in the toilet. I absolutely felt it, which is what caused me to jump up and look. Probably TMI but it felt like a clot coming out during a heavy period, so it was noticeable.

It can feel a wet, but will be sticky if it comes out on your underwear. With my previous babies I noticed it with a wipe of tp, this one I recently stood up after finishing at the toilet and felt wetness on my thigh and there was some there. Eww.

I think I just lost mine.. Or part of mine.. In my underwear. Noticed some unusual "wetness" and there it was. Oddly exciting! I told DH, but didn't show him. He was kinda excited, lol.

Ahhh...I think your post jinxed me (not really), I have strings of mucus in my panties...part of me hopes it comes out in chunks and not a big jelly, gross thing!
