Weird Shower Moment

SIL's shower was this weekend.  Most of the guests were MIL's friends, women 60-65yo, the rest were family.  DH's cousin and I were the youngest with exception of one guest's 6th grade granddaughter.

The host pulls out a 2'x3' poster of a uterus and starts "Pin the Sperm on the Egg." Really?  It was just weird.  I'd never seen this game before.

    How weird is that? I mean that is your DH's sister saying "Hey, come pretend your are my brother who just had sex and implant this chick over here."

    I actually saw something similar on etsy. I joked to my sister it was the only game I wanted to play. I *think* he got my sarcasm.

    This mental image will haunt me forever. I'm so happy I'd never heard of this game before opening this thread, I sincerely hope I won't be asked to participate in it in the future.

    Pin the penis in the vag is a complete different story though ;)

    It is a popular repin on pinterest but seriously gross. I hated playing pin the tail on the donkey as a kid I do not want to relive it again as an adult holding a sperm tadpole. The image of 60-65 year old majority playing this is also just as disturbing.

    My mom wanted to do this at my SIL's shower.  SOOO glad I was able to talk her out of it.  I would be mortified if I were your SIL.

    If it was a Jack and Jill shower with a bunch of college friends... and the guests were adequately drunk. Maybe. 

    Otherwise just NO 

    This may be the only appropriate circumstance for this game.
