My latest beta #4 came back at 1235 @ 21dp5dt putting the doubling time at 88 hours. This number is still incredibly low for being so far along and it has sent me for a tailspin. And while I know it's still possible things are fine, I just can't seem to get on board with feeling positive anymore. I'm trying with everything I can to "relax" like everyone tells me to, but I seriously can't.

These betas have been torture. I would kill for something to just be easy already.
I posted yesterday on PAIF and lots of women had success stories and positive things to say about non-doubling betas. I hope to be one of them too someday, but for today I'm in a really bad funk because I've read too many stories where non-doubling betas turn out tragic. We have an u/s on Friday morning. Hopefully we will see something that puts my mind to ease. If not, I'm going to tell myself it is too early (6w2d.) We will have a second u/s next week and if we don't get good news by then, I think it will be curtains for this pregnancy.
Re: My update and beta #4 results
ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

Liz, I'm very sorry that you're being put through the ringer like this. There are stories to support every possible scenario. Do yourself a favor if you can and stop reading up on others' experiences. I know too well the special hell that brings. Just wait it out til Friday. Try to distract yourself with books, tv, movies. And then on Friday, you'll take it another day at a time. That's all you can ask of yourself. Hang in there and know many are thinking of you.
Baby boy Henry born 2015.
Expecting our capstone baby (boy) early March 2018.
I'm sorry that things are not going great / textbook.
(hugs)
Its such an emotionally draining journey.
I wish I could tell you my experience was "textbook" once I got my BFP, but it wasn't. So many ups and downs and twists and turns from start to finish.
You would think after all we had been through just to get pg for heaven's sake ... that we would get a "get out of jail free card" and have an easy, worry free pg. Unfortunately, it didn't happen to me or to any of my IRL IF friends. We all had quite eventful pg exepriences.
Hang in there! Praying for a good u/s on Friday for you.
April 2013 DE IVF= BFN
September 2013 DE IVF (Fingers Crossed) = BFFFN! again...
October 2013 FET of our last 2 = Beta Hellzz for 6-7 Weeks. M/C
Thank you ladies so much. I'm hoping the betas mean nothing and the u/s gives us good news. Like you say TwinMommy, why can't us IFers get a "get out of jail free card" and just have it easy for once? Sheesh.
Thanks again!
