March 2012 Moms

no more formula!

DS is completely on whole milk now! Transition was much easier than I expected!

Now trying to get him to use sippy cup or straw cup. He thinks it's a toy and jsut bites on it or throws it.

  • My day is coming soon! My daughter is turning 1 next week and her dr. appt is a week later. We have 1 container of milk left so we are determined to make it last until her appt when we get the official word to put her on whole milk! I can't wait!! Extra money!!!!
  • How long did it take you to transition? We have only been doing it about a week and a half now and I only have maybe 4 more days of BM left to mix with whole milk.

We had that problem with DS at first.  Every time he would bite/throw it we would take it away.  We also made sure to mirror the behavior we wanted from him with it when we took it away.  It took a few days, but he got the idea that it wasn't for fun.  He still tosses it around now and again, but that's completely to be expected.
