Ready to announce on FB!

in 1st Trimester
I am eleven weeks today and my husband and I are ready to announce on FB that we are expecting our 2nd child! We have thought of taking a picture of a bun in the oven or taking pictures of shoes and say our family is growing by two feet! But I just can't decide. Any suggestions or ideas? What have some of you done?

    How about "DH and I are thrilled to be expecting our first child, due in X month!"?

    I really don't get the cutesy announcement stuff. It's like STFUParents starts the minute you tell Facebook you're knocked up.

    I think it is fun.  We love all the cutsie stuff.

    We sent out annoucements with baby # 1.  It was a little post card & on the front it was a picture of a baby on the beach with his but out & it said Guess What

    On the back it said "Baby Butt"!

    We're expection Sept of 2011.  Everyone raved over it.  Not sure what were doing this time.

     Not sure if this will fit but we have great friends who are photographers and since this is our first baby we wanted to do something fun :) We are both goofballs so this was our way to announce!

    I actually like the bun in the oven thing. I think the shoes thing is a bit over played, but I don't think I've seen one with a bun in the oven.

    Take a picture in front of a bump ahead road sign. Pinterest has a ton of ideas.

    I love all the cute stuff, however, I am really bad about actually doing it.  I think I will just put one of my ultrasound pics as my profile pic.  Nuf said! I have already told family, friends, and co-workers.
