LO has it on her arms and legs. We treat it with coconut oil and CJs BUTTer. It doesn't seem to bother her at all, so pedi said there was no need to worry about it.
We were dealing with it for awhile and it was really bad. We used the aveeno eczema and oatmeal baths. We took her to the allergist and got steroid cream as well.
We have mild cases for both kids as well. Aveeno, Ceptrofil [sp?], or California Baby work well for us. Our pedi, who has it as well, also likes the white Gold Bond.

Yay I was thinking you. All I could remember was one of the cutest little girls on this board! ((I knew that description wouldn't help!))

Hannah has it pretty bad. It's on her arms, shoulders, the backs of her knees and her hips. We use all the Aveeno stuff + a script hydrocortisone cream.

For the ladies using a prescription creme, is that because it was scabbing or itching? DS has eczema everywhere and lately it seems to be getting worse. It's on his legs, stomach, arms. But it doesn't seem to bother him and it looks mild to me. Aveeno stuff does nothing, neither does Aquaphor or Oatmeal baths. Planning to cover it at his 6 month appointment, but curious about others, since the topic was brought up.
I posted a thread about it last week. I ended up using the oatmeal bath instead of the regular Aveeno combined with the Soothing Lotion and their Excema cream, as well as putting vaseline on her spots a few times a day. It's cleared right up!
DS has it pretty badly all over since about 2.5 mos old. We went to dermatologist after trying everything under the sun. We started a regime about a month ago that includes dermasmoothe oil (all over, except face) and 2.5% hydrocortizone on face. For a few nights we did "wet pajamas" under dry pajamas on top of the steroid and hydrolatum creams after tepid bath. And, 1-2x/week a diluted bleach bath to kill any staph, etc. that can make it worse. This all seemed to work well, but it keeps popping up. I've also been dairy & soy free while EBF for almost 8 weeks now. We are seeing a lot of improvement, down to just a few re-curring spots that I hit with the steroid every few days and we are slathering on the hydrolatum 2x a day and doing a daily tepid bath then "sealing" with the hydrolatum. The pedi thought it could be food allergy, but the derm thinks its not. Since it takes so long to get the dairy out of your system, I decided to remain dairy/soy free until we get it all under control. We will probably challenge DS with dairy/soy pumped milk from the older freezer stash soon after his next derm visit.
We just went to the pedi today as his is getting worse and it is bothering him and he has been very fussy and screeching...that sound is worse than crying!
He ended up having an infection on top of his eczema as he had scratched open some spots so that explains why they weren't healing. We are on a 10 day antibiotic and told to still use 1 hydrocortisone cream and cetaphil or aveeno lotion. Also said coat him with vaseline right after a bath and bathe every other day not daily. Just wanted to share in case this helps anyone else.
Re: Eczema moms or Toni
Oh crap. There have been a few. Xoaklyx (I think that's her name on her) had an ongoing battle with it I believe. Also maybe Marisa.
My LO had a minor case too.
That's gotta be made up

I know that's her IG name. I think it's the same on here! She's the one with the absolute CUTEST monthly photos of her DS.

It's been an adventure.
