  We have our DS in a center, and the providers get paid vacation so we're not doing an entire weeks pay. I'll get the two women in his room $50 gift cards and something small.

  There's no way I can afford to give even close to the average.  I am making a hot chocolate mix and putting it in decorated containers for his three primary caregivers.  I am making christmas cookies for the floaters, the director, and the receptionist.

  We are doing a $100 bonus and a small gift (around $20)  We use and in home provider.

  We go to an in-home provider.  I am giving a gc to the grocery store.  A little more personal than money, but still useful.  She has 4 boys of her own.

  My daughters are in a center.  There are two teachers in DD#1's class and 4 in DD#2's class and times are tight, so I think I'll be doing cookies for everyone.  I really can't afford to give 6 giftcards that would be enough for them to buy something.  When she went to a sitter last year, I did a small gift plus $25 giftcard.
