We had 1 yr needles today. The health nurse was happy to finally have a 1yr old who didn't fall off her curve. Our little 90+% kid is holding strong!

I didn't expect the needles to be arm, arm, leg! I thought it would be 3 leg shots.

Daddy is home after 5 days away. I am having a beer and killing brain cells on the internet. Off duty while A is happy - I will be full on if there's a fever or discomfort later.

That's weird, C's were all leg I think. Can't quite remember. Did you tell them you were still BFing? The nurse was so thrilled at 1 year that I still was, it was nice.

Yes, we got a "that's great" re: breastfeeding. I was so thankful to be able to nurse A during the observation time after.

Apparently the shots are given either way. Our little chunk (26 pounds) has plenty of meat on her arms and legs so one needle per location doable.

DD got her 12 month shots in her arm and she is tiny. The nurse said it was because they didnt want sore legs to affect walking. Though I dont think a day or 2 of leg soreness would really affect walking that much.

Interesting. Maybe just at the discretion of the nurse then.

Bahaha! Well, I'll start the dreaded Prometrium tonight. If my temps stay high, I'll most likely test on Sunday. But for some reason I have a feeling that it will take a few months to get pregnant again. No idea why, though!

I think so but we are afraid to share because we got such negative feedback from everyone on DD's name. Their opinions won't change our minds we just want to be sure before we share.
