Recommend your humidifier

I had the Crane cool mist humidifier and it broke after not even a year, so sad. I want to get a new one for Alex's room and would love some recommendations, please!

  • that is so funny... ours broke yesterday. We had the Crane frog one. I am waffling, but thinking of buying the Crane rain drop one. It looks like it has good reviews.

I will also say that I broke it while cleaning it :(  It wasn't defective or anything!

  • I just saw the Vicks humidifier at Target the other day and thought it looked cool :)

We have the Safety 1st Ultrasonic Humidifier; we've used it quite a bit (it seems like DS is ALWAYS sick) and it's still working well.

Vicks makes one that is also a starry night light type thing... we don't have one, but it looks neat.

It really does look neat! But the reviews are not too good. :-(

The drop is the one that broke :-( The on/off wheel is just not working anymore and you can't really open it to see what's wrong.

  • I was going to recommend the Crane ones (we have a frog and a teardrop running pretty much constantly all winter and haven't had a problem with either) but that doesn't really help you.

This we like our tear drop one. We also broke down and got a whole house kenmore one too.
