I had the Crane cool mist humidifier and it broke after not even a year, so sad. I want to get a new one for Alex's room and would love some recommendations, please!
that is so funny... ours broke yesterday. We had the Crane frog one. I am waffling, but thinking of buying the Crane rain drop one. It looks like it has good reviews.
I will also say that I broke it while cleaning it It wasn't defective or anything!

The drop is the one that broke :-( The on/off wheel is just not working anymore and you can't really open it to see what's wrong.
we have the vicks one- like it alot pretty easy to clean, but we have only had it for like 3 mo. so I can't promise anything about its longevity...
TTC#1 May 2009- July 2010 on our own with no luck
Started with RE in August 2010, dx with unexplained IF and then finally our 3rd IUI cycle using Follistim and Trigger resulted in our wonderful little man. Born 12/2/11
TTC#2 Never really prevented, but were careful early on as Dr. reccomended
Surprise BFP 12/16/13, started progesterone immediately as first numbers came back low, but betas were good. Progesterone wasnt enough. Natural MC 12/24/13.
I was going to recommend the Crane ones (we have a frog and a teardrop running pretty much constantly all winter and haven't had a problem with either) but that doesn't really help you.

This we like our tear drop one. We also broke down and got a whole house kenmore one too.

I just saw the Vicks humidifier at Target the other day and thought it looked cool
We have the Safety 1st Ultrasonic Humidifier; we've used it quite a bit (it seems like DS is ALWAYS sick) and it's still working well.
It really does look neat! But the reviews are not too good. :-(

That one looks very interesting!
