Am I the only one not ready?!

I see a lot of posts on being ready, and I'm just wondering, is anyone feeling not ready like I am? I'm a FTM at 38w3d, with a lot of the same discomforts, but also some anxiety over what's to come. Particularly labor...

Was also told that due to baby being small (under 5 percentile) I'm pretty sure to be induced next week. Eek! So many horror stories about painful labors ending in c-sections...

I'm obviously beyond psyched to meet our baby, but at this point wouldn't mind another couple of weeks of mental prep :)

    Im also a ftm and just got the ready feeling yesterday for the first time because i share your anxiety. Just know that when people say they are ready does not mean they couldnt be more ready to take on labor and parenting. Just means youve essentially cime to terms that this babyis coming whether youre ready or not....hang in there mama!

    I feel the same way. I am a FTM and am so scared of labor. I see all these people saying they are ready, but I don't feel ready at all. I will be 38 weeks on Wednesday. Just hope that everything goes smoothly!

    When I say I'm ready I mean I'm just ready to not be pregnant anymore. I'm also a FTM and scared about labor, but ready to not be pregnant.

    FTM here too. I'm ready to hold and snuggle my sweet baby boy. However, I'm not ready, mentally or physically, for labor.  I'm trying not to focus on that part but instead focus on the final outcome...our baby. :)

    I'm not ready. This pregnancy is definitely  harder on me than my last (but even with that one, I was in no rush to  have the baby before my EDD), and I don't necessarily have labor anxiety, but I definitely have 2-kids-under-one-roof-anxiety. This baby can take his or her sweet time, lol.

    From my experience, induction is awesome. I went in relaxed and everything went well. I'm happy I'll be induced again with this one.

    Part of me is ready and part of me is not.  I'm nervous about having 2 kids, nervous about keeping up with DS when I'm also caring for a newb, etc.  But I'm uncomfortable, can't really keep up with him now because I'm uncomfortable, and I actually had an awesome birth experience with DS and I'm excited for that again (I sooo hope it goes as smooth!)
