Not an EX, but my husband's name is Kevin and I LOVE it for a boy. He doesn't like Juniors though, so I'm SOL.

Not an exes name but DH and I both like Dominic for this LO but its step FIL middle name and DH is not close to him and would not want a "you named him after SFIL" connotation with MIL. Also I like Francis nn Frankie after my late great uncle but SFIL is Frank. Kinda irritated its "ruined" two names for us LOL

Lydia is my all time favorite girl name. And of course DH had to involve himself with one while we were on a "break" during college. I might actually say to hell with her and try to use it anyway!

Peter is my all time favorite boy name and my BILs name. We would use it but it could cause drama when we honored him over FIL and there's mo way we'll have enough sons to honor everyone next ds will have my dad's name as mn.

I've always liked the name Darcy but dated one in high school. I'm not in touch with him anymore but have friends who are. It would be weird to use his name.

I also really like the name Korissa. Aside from the fact that it's pretty popular where I live now, it's the name my ex used to love. His best friend ended up using it (my ex had two daughters afterward and named them completely different names) but it would be weird to use a name my ex once suggested.

I have always loved the name Dakota for a boy. Hubby wanted to use the name James for a middle name after his grandfather. However, I dated a DJ through most of high school and part of college. He was the worst mistake I made in my dating life. Dakota is still in, but with a different middle name.

I love the name Evelyn NN "Evie" but my husband dated a girl in HS named "Eve" ...she was also someone I knew and didn't like growing up so it's a terrible association. "Evie" is so darn cute!

I also love Josiah but it is the middle name of the guy I dated for three yrs before meeting my husband. I'm not sure DH even realizes that but he was a total jerk-mentally/verbally abusive and cheated. So that's out!

Devin and Nicholas. Also Evan, but I think I'd feel more comfortable using that since it was longer ago and less serious.

FI's would be Hannah. I liked that name a lot but it's out for him since it's one of his exes.
