Well I got my bfn offically from my RE and my WTF appt scheduled. I must say that I had a gut feeling since last Monday that it didn't work 3dp3dt. Once I got the news from the embriologist that my 2 out of 4 embryos stopped growing it all went down hill. Don't get me wrong I am very optimistic and have been positive this entire 1st cycle. It was just a gut feeling I had that I couldn't shake.
Now I want to weigh my options and see other doctors. I really liked my doctor and a few of the nurses. I do however feel like there was added stress for no reason. I had been telling my office since Oct 2012 that I could only do IVF because I lost my tubes. They didn't hear me until Jan 2013 so it delayed my insurance and start of my 1st cycle. Also, I was in the dark on everything, how many resting follicles, how many large, what they look for, what to expect. I think because my insurance pays for my cycle that it was more about the money. Anyway, its over and it was a learning experience. I feel strong enough to start my next cycle less stressed and with better understanding. Sorry for the long post. Thanks for listening ladies.

Ugh, I'm sorry this cycle didn't work. This whole thing is such a learning process. Sometimes you have to go through it once to figure out what you do/don't want from your RE. It makes sense to find someone who will do what you need, and give you the information you need, to feel comfortable.
Was your RE not listening about the tubes, or was it your insurance? Even though we knew exactly where our problem is (MFI) insurance still made us jump through hoops and testing before they would cover IVF. Our RE thought it was foolish, but was going to dot all the i's and cross the t's so we wouldn't get stuck with a bill at the end. It ended up delaying our cycle by a few months too.
Spinch,
I'm so sorry! (((Huge hugs)))

Ugh, I feel your pain. The whole process is a learning journey about the ins and outs of fert treatments and about ourselves. Regardless of where you are in this process you always learn something. Either way, I am glad you feel stronger anymore knowledgable about the process. Give your clinic feed back. Tell them what happened. My clinic does surveys every 6 months to check on all sorts of things and I have seen changes from it.
Insurance is such a blessing and a curse. My first IVF cycle was cancelled because none of my eggs fertilized and my clinic wasn't allowed to "rescue ICSI" because it was an insurance cycle. We knew beforehand that my DH had low morph but ICSI wasn't initially approved, so they told us to start over with the caveat that next time they could ICSI and have it covered by insurance. Ugh. What a pain and a waste of time and $.
I hope that your next leg of the journey is less stressful for you and more successful!!! Good luck.
