Construction improves naptime?!

Our upstairs neighbour moved out/was kicked out at the end of February, but he had ruined the apartment and it's having to be completely fixed up (new floors, new paint, everything).  Our landlord also happens to be DH's best friend, so he's said that he'll get the workers to avoid the loudest stuff during nap times, which is really sweet of him.  Today has still been loud - banging and drilling and dropping things and power tools being used right above Lily's room.  And that child has taken an extra long nap!  She's been asleep for 3 hours; woke up briefly about half an hour ago and went right back to sleep!

Maybe I should change the request to have them do all their loudest work during nap time.  Wink

    Once Violet is a asleep she is a sound sleeper too.  We have been working on the bathroom during naptime and she sleeps through all of our pounding.

    Hahaha! That is awesome that she is sleeping through all of that noise. Maybe you can record it and play it at every nap time.

    haha that's an idea!

    Maybe she can't hear you doing anything through all the construction so she doesn't feel like she's missing out? I'm glad she's napping well!
