Need help with making my own invitations

In the past I used scrapblog to make them and I ordered from them.  I have cashed in my pampers points for 4x8 photo cards and had planned to use them for my daughter's birthday invitations.  What type of program do I need to create my own invitations?  I'm not having any luck with the pre-done ones with the theme of her party.  Are there any free programs out there to design them and save as a jpeg?  Please help!  Thanks!

  • How detailed a design do you want...?

If you are very good with graphic programs, you can download Gimp for free, or a free trial of Corel Draw. If you're looking for something simple, like a photo with a boarder and wording, you can use photo editor Ribbet.com. But, when I do my Christmas photo cards, I just use PowerPoint.

  • My husband made ours with Photoshop.  If you don't have a program to do it, search Etsy.  You can pretty much find any theme and someone will plug in your information, then email you the jpeg.  Usually around $6-$10 for the file.

  • Use etsy, have someone design one for you and use the coupon to print them.
