XP: NoVA Pediatrician Rec Needed

Hi Ladies,

I've been so busy lately that I completely forgot that I need to set-up a pediatrician for my little one when he is born (btw, I will be induced next week if I don't deliver by then!).

Ideally, I'd like to stay in the Arlington area, even a pediatrician at VHC would be great (that is where I'm delivering). Any recommendations?

    I go to Heritage Family Practice by the Fair Oaks Mall.  I love Dr. Peyton, which is why I travel from Mont. Co. for my own appointments.  Everyone in that office is really nice. 

    If you need someone closer, Eugene Shmourhan (sp?) is also great.  His office is on Javier Rd. near INOVA Fairfax

    I'm not sure if this is too far for you, but I was referred to these doctors at Children's Medical Associates (www.cmanva.com). They are in Alexandria, but RIGHT off the highway, and very easy to get to. They are featured in Washingtonians Top Doctors for 2008 :)

    We see Dr. Linda Lee at Watson Salsbury Pediatrics and really like her.  Located on Washington Street (Lee Highway) in Falls Church right across the Arlington border.  Also a bonus - plenty of easy parking.

    When I was looking for a pediatrician, someone on these boards recommended Dr. Mary Ellen Gallagher who is not far from VHC on Glebe.  We are now clients of hers and love her!

    We go to Sleepy Hollow Pediatrics in seven corners and have been very happy with them so far.  They came highly reccommended by multiple friends.

    i second watson salsbury!  we actually go to the herndon office, but have had to go to falls church on a couple of weekends.  the doctors are awesome, the staff is awesome, and their facilities are great.

    We go to Watson Salsbury's Falls Church office as well.  I like all of the doctors, the facilities are nice, and it is easy to get to.  Also, they have great hours- I think they are now open until 8 in the evening, they have Saturday hours in FC and you can go to the Herndon office on Sundays.
