What can I do special for my little sis... NBR

I feel like I have stolen all of her thunder this year. She is 11 years younger than me and graduates May 24th from high school and my due date is the 20th. She has scheduled her graduation party later so I won't miss it too. I know if I go into labor late my mom will come here and my dad and the rest of the family would stay for graduation.

I feel like we always have these things happen. Her kindergarten graduation was the same day as my senior award ceremony so my mom went to mine and dad went to hers.

Is there anything that I can do to make things more special for her?

  • I would do a special piece of jewelry.

Something "grown up" like and classic that she can wear with anything and is more timeless.  Maybe Tiffany?

I think telling her what you told us will probably go a long way for her- knowing that you want things to be special for her and acknowledge that things sometimes don't work out that way.

I totally agree with this! Just letting her know that you're aware of her feelings is huge. I also like the special jewelry idea.
