DD is 13 weeks and has silent reflux. I think she's finally doing better on Alimentum RTF and Prilosec. Ped GI recommended several things including keeping her upright 30 minutes after feeding.
Those of you with reflux babies- do you keep them upright 30 mins? It's fine during the day, but at 4 AM I'm ready to faceplant on the glider after she eats and falls back to sleep. Of course I want to do whatever's best for DD but MOTN feedings are bad enough without having to sit there for an additional half hour.
What do you do?
Re: Question RE Reflux Babies
LO is now 6 months and (thankfully) we no longer need to do night feeds but when we were feeding at night we ALWAYS stayed up an extra 20-30 mins to keep him upright. I remember how brutal it was, so I can totally relate but I was more worried about the repercussions of not doing it.
Sorry... probably not what you wanted to hear!
