Plugged duct :(

Ngggghhhhhhhh. I was up all night feeding DD because she couldn't nurse effectively from the plugged side and so kept waking up hungry, and the pump isn't doing squat, and now she's NOT hungry. BFing, you are often ridiculous.

    I am sure you know all this already but warmth, massage, tylenol, etc. can help.

    So sorry you are expereincing this.  Plugged ducts suck!  (no BF pun intended).

    Oh no, that sounds awful :(  I hope it becomes "unplugged" soon!!

    Yes, but thank you for commiserating :) I'm just applying lots of hot compresses and liberating myself to mope on the couch watching Parks & Rec. That's restful, right?

    Ouch!  I feel for you.  I hope it fixes itself soon.  I think the pump hurts even more than feeding with plugged ducts.  Hungry or not, baby needs to eat!

    Oh, crossing my fingers. Just did a dangle feeding and I think she worked it out... now it's just a little sore but I don't *think* I feel any lump.

    Hope you got it out, those are the worst!!! I think I had six million of them in the for 5 months with DS :/  it was brutal, but it sure feels amazing when you get it out!

    It does indeed! The worst was a milk blister... never want one of those again.

    THIS.  You are awesome!  I was ragged after ten days of barely anything in 24hrs., I couldn't imagine dealing with any of these other conditions (clogged ducts, milk blisters, mastitis) Yikes!!  

    So glad that it seems to have resolved itself though ~ sending GL vibes your way, anyways ;D

    Aw, thanks, but I feel like I have only had a few problems! I haven't had mastitis and know a few folks still BFing who've gotten it multiple times. Being a mom is tough no matter what!
