science museum

Hello! I want to go to the Body Works exhibit at the Science Museum with my sister but am wondering how baby friendly the museum is? I would have to bring my 16 week old with us. He does great in his carseat and stroller so I was planning on using that. Are there elevators, etc that would make using a stroller easy? How about places to feed? He is bottle fed but gets distracted really easily lately. Would you go? Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated!

  • Totally baby friendly (especially if you can go on a weekday when it isn't busy).  We took our 4 month old because we had free tickets...it was the first place he ever rolled over!  We were very cautious about where to go at that age and how to keep him on a feeding/sleeping schedule and the museum was great. I'd definitely recommend it.

  • The science museum in general is pretty kid friendly.  Yes, there are plenty of elevators and most of the stuff you're going to be doing is on the main level anyway.

  • I just brought my 5 month old and used the stroller most of the time! It was very easy and she loved watching all of the kids! It gets pretty busy, but there's a ton to do and explore. It would be perfect for a 16 month old!
