IKEA Antilop highchair owners, pls come in

We have a hand-me-down Antilop highchair, but without the tray.

If you have the Antilop, do you have the tray? Yay or Nay on the tray?

It seems to be it'll be a lot easier for LO to pick up food from the tray, as well as clean up the mess, no?

The only problem is that the nearest IKEA is 45 mins drive, so it is quite a trek to go all the way there just to get the tray.

    Yep, you're going to want the tray.

    If it fits right up to the table great, but I liked having the tray when dd was messy.

    Definitely get the tray, it cuts down on the mess. Also, if your chair is a hand me down, check to see if it was recalled. A few years ago there was a recall on some of the Antilop chairs because of a faulty buckle. The ikea website has more info or you can just google it.

    I've never used it without the tray, so my first thought is yes, you'll want it.

    Our IKEA is 3 hours away so 45 min. to me sounds like nothin'. :P

    Totally worth it and try amazon I think they ave the tray there so the shipping may be worth it to avoid drive if your just going for that. There is ikea store on amazon.
