Does your child always ruin/interrupt...

"adult time"?  Of course since having a kid, our love life has... declined.  But it seems like EVERY TIME DH and I try to dtd, my kid wakes up.  Not just wakes up and pleasantly falls back to sleep, but a screaming, up for 30 minutes up.

Plesae tell me I'm not alone.  

Years ago, someone told me that kids are the biggest clockbock ever.  I thought she was exaggerating. Nope.

    We refer to our kids as cb 1,2, and 3.

    Somehow we've managed to escape this problem so far. We typically do it right after he goes down for his afternoon nap which lasts about an hour, his nap not the deed. Otherwise, it's at night well after he's gone to bed.

    I feel like she does wake up every time. But it's not a wakeup where I have to tend to her, it's like she's just making her presence known for a minute or two. So awkward. Fabulous birth control.

    Same here. We tend to do it at night before we go to bed and she has been asleep for 3 hours.

    BFP #1 6-8-11 EDD 2-19-12. DD born 2-3-12 via induction due to pre-e.
    BFP #2 9-7-13 EDD 5-22-14. It's a GIRL! DD#2 is on her way.

    We actually don't have this issue, we never have. I guess we're lucky. There have been a couple times where we were almost done when she woke up...that is awkward.

    DD has forced a quicky on us quite a few times.  As soon as we get started we hear her rustling over the monitor.  DH said she's determined to be an only child.  Now we take advantage of naps on weekends, about 10 minutes after she goes down we try our luck.  Otherwise, we do it right before bed when she's been sleep for a while.
