Strained/tight feeling

Anyone else have a tight or strained feeling through the middle of their stomach? The majority of my pain seems to be from my belly button up. My stomach is hard, but not too hard. I've had this discomfort for the past few hours and can't seem to find any relief.

    sounds like braxton hick contractions, its your body practicing but also drink water it will go away!!!!

    Lots of water and laying on your side should do the trick.  They really shouldn't be painful so if you begin to really experience pain you may want to call your dr.

    I've been having BH's for a few weeks and it's a totally different feeling. At first I thought maybe it was a BH so I got on my side, but the strained feeling only got worse. Very strange. I've switched positions and propped myself up, things seem to be getting better. Maybe baby was pushing on something, who knows. But my belly isn't so hard anymore, thank goodness.

    I have had a strained feeling in my hips and groin area for weeks.  The doctor said it is from the weight of the baby.  Not sure if we are feeling the same thing but it could be from muscles being pulled and stretched.  Hope you find some relief.

    I have also been getting a really tight, strained feeling. Some people say these are BH but they seem to last too long for that. No idea, but I am getting it too.
