Lightweight stroller recs?

We have a snap and go for our car seat. We do not want a travel system or 20 lb stroller. We are looking for lightweight and recline capability. We saw the Uppa Baby G-Luxe brochure in Buy Buy Baby and that looks like the kind of thing we want. We also saw a Maclaren that was similar.

Does anyone have a stroller that fits in this category that they love or would at least recommend?

  • I have G-luxe. It's our only stroller right now and I have no complaints about it. We ditched the full-sized after DS turned 1. We have another baby on the way so I just ordered a double, but for I don't think you can go wrong with the G-Luxe. I think there is probably a McClaren equivalent that may be working looking at as well. But I don't recall being impressed with my other options compared to the G-Luxe.

  • I have the Maclaren Quest and love it. its lightweight, good quality, and is one of the only ones that lays completely flat which I love- will be great for naps when my baby is older.

We've been using our G-luxe since DS was 3 months old.  He liked being able to look out & couldn't in his SnG.  I thought it was easier to open & softer than the Maclaren.  It also has a wonderful UV shade.  Wish they had a double though. :(

I am looking into this one too. Are you able to push and steer it with one hand? I love that feature of our Bob and I'd hope to replicate it with our eventual smaller stroller.

  • I'm in love with my 2013 G-Luxe! It is so awesome! Fold is so easy, it's comfy, high handle bar height, can push one handed, automatic lock when folding, stands when folded, great canopy, easy to adjust reclining seat, and I could just go on! I have the black frame with the black seat and I think that it's really nice looking. Highly recommend!

  • We LOVE LOVE LOVE our Chicco Liteway!! We've had it since DD was about 4 1/2 months old and she is 15months now. We're going to be buying the brand new Chicco Liteway Plus (released in January) for this baby, it folds down to accommodate the Keyfit 30 infant seat.
