Team Green mommas - any intuition?

Mobile: Team Green mommas - any intuition?

Hey Team Green mommas, curious if you have any intuition on LO's sex? Some days I get really anxious to know what baby is, and other days I take it all in "stride." I truly don't have a preference on what this baby is so it's fun to do the old wives tales or compare ultrasound pictures against the Ramzi Method. My gut says this is going to be another boy, but everyone else thinks girl. I think they guess girl because they automatically assume that's what I want. I'd love a girl, but would be equally thrilled about a little brother for DS. With DS, I was so certain it was a boy that I couldn't imagine it any other way and this time around I don't have as strong of feelings that it's one sex over the other as I did the first time.

Curious if any other Team Green'ers have a really strong gut sense about the sex of your LOs. Not too much longer and we'll officially know (54 days for me!).

Re: Team Green mommas - any intuition?

  • My instinct with DS was girl and I was obviously wrong. This time I think I'm destined to have another boy...exactly like MH, just like DS...but I was wrong the first time, so who knows!!!

  • At first I thought its a boy. Now I'm leaning towards girl. DH wants a girl but we would also love another boy. I have always wanted 2 boys but now that everyone I know has a girl I want one too!! Only 33 more days until the RCS and I will know which one it is.
  • I am pretty confident it's a boy...well...50% at least! LOL.
I just can't imagine having a girl after having a boy already!

    Can't wait to find ou!

That's how I feel, too. I can't picture what a girl would be like. I feel like a "mom of boys."

  • Towards the end of my first pregnancy, I was about 85% sure we were having a boy. Clearly I was right (H thought so too). This time...I really, truly don't know. H is almost positive we're having a girl, and everyone else seems to think so as well. I'm leaning towards girl...but I just don't know. And I can't wait to find out! Less than a month (in theory, anyway) for us!!

  • I'm a FTM so I don't have my own experience to reference from, but I'm leaning towards boy on most days. I will be totally happy no matter what we have! I tend to like the boy clothes a lot more though... I was a tomboy growing up, so if a have a little girl I have no problem dressing her in boy stuff.

  • I was pretty convinced that DD was going to be a boy...and obviously wrong!  So I'm not relying on any gut feelings this time around, just rolling with the surprise.

I have been thinking it's a boy all along, mainly because this pregnancy has been so different from my first two. I know that doesn't always mean anything, but I have two girls already, and those pregnancies were very similar. Not quite carbon copies, but close. This time there are a lot of little differences, but the one that leads me to think boy is my first tri cravings. All I ever craved with my girls was chocolate/cookies/ice cream (frequently, and in large quantities ;), but this time more than 3 bites of any of those made me feel sick! I was drawn more towards salty and/or meaty foods, which is very unusual for me. (I have a huge sweet tooth, and my fav foods are usually carb-based.)

At this point though, I honestly can't tell if that's intuition or wishful thinking!

I'm thinking its a boy, but I feel like I've been influenced by others saying repeatedly they think its a boy.  I'd love for my daughter to have a sister and would love to have another little girl.  I'm excited for the surprise!

  • I had no intuition for the longest time, but I'm now convinced I'm carrying a girl. So of course, my husband is convinced I'm carrying a boy.

I don't know, though; I'm the one who had two dreams of a daughter, so I guess we'll see what happens. Either way, we'll be happy.

  • I've been thinking boy but I feel like DS has been talking so much about having a brother that it has swayed my thoughts.  I thought girl for DS, so we'll see if he's better at guessing this than me.
  • If I had to guess, I'd say girl, but I really have no idea.
  • Every other week I think something different, so I guess I'll find out soon!

  • No momma intuition here - but the votes have overwhelmingly been boy versus girl from those who see me based on the way I'm carrying.  Should be interesting...just 6 more weeks (or less-yikes!) until I know...
