Baby Entertainers...

My son is 6 months and just had penis surgery. He cant use the bumbo, exersaucers, jumperoo, or baby carriers for a month. While I dont love him being in those things anyway, when he is with my father who watches him as I work, I like him to have some options of things to do with him. Like most babies, he tires of things after ten minutes or so, so he is constantly moving him from playing on tummy, to sitting up with help, to playmat, to crib with toys, to high chair with toys and back again. I was hoping to find a swing that accomidates a bigger baby or another idea of something that doesnt put pressure right in that area but is something he can set him in and go to the bathroom etc. Any ideas?

    What about this?  WE had it and loved it.  the middle part doesn't come up as night as the bumbo so it may not bother his penis as much.

    Do you have the Fisher Price Kick and Play piano? That was a huge hit for my son before he could sit up on his own consistently and, even when he could, the piano pivots so they can sit up and play with it.

    Like PP said the Fisher Price Kick & Play piano is a good option.  We used a similar Fisher Price crib toy when DS had his surgery at 7 months. My other suggestion is the V-tech laptop, Bright Starts Remote, classic FP toys (such as the rings), and the Mega Block dump truck (you can take the blocks out & just give him the truck).  All were toys I used a lot after DSs surgery.  One thing I did do to keep him contained was put him in his full sized square playyard since anything between his legs was not an option.
