Positive Test! (and a question)

Hello Ladies! I am so excited to be joining everyone for our november due dates! I got my positive this morning and my husband and I are overly ecstatic because I have PCOS and my doctor told me to just "try" before treatment and this is our first month!!! The only thing is that it was a faint line (obvious line, but faint) and that makes me nervous that it could turn into a chemical pregnancy. With my irregular periods its hard to tell when I ovulated, but I think I am about 10 - 12 DPO. I know, I know, its early, but I am just scared I guess... and almost in disbelief that I am pregnant so soon. What do you think?

Re: Positive Test! (and a question)

  • I'm 13dpo and I got my bfp this morning, it was definitely a line but also faint so I fully understand being nervous. I'm going to hopefully go in tomorrow for my first beta!

  • My BFP line was faint, maybe less than half the shade of the control line. I felt better when I confirmed with FMU the next morning and CBD the next evening. Then I stepped away from the tests... Try not to worry! And congrats!

  • Thank you all! I am just so excited that I am preggers and cant wait to call my doctor first thing in the morning!
  • I have pcos too. I got pg with my son right away, but took 15 months for this one. A faint line is a line. Some women with pcos have fainter lines regardless.

  • When I was pregnant with my daughter I didn't get a positive test till I was 12 weeks and even then it was faint. My son I was 8 weeks along before a test showed a positive with a faint line. This time I am just over 4 weeks and have taken 2 tests and both have faint lines. Home pregnancy tests varies so much in sensitivity from test to test even in the same box so no guarantee you would get the same darkness in lines on 2 tests in one box. The darkness of the line also has nothing to do with "how pregnant" you are just says you have the hormone in your body.
