Hi all! I've been an occasional lurker since joining the bump, but I would like to start posting more now that my son is born. Since I just delurked to post in the homeschooling thread, now seems like a good time to introduce myself.
I am a new mom to an 8 week old boy, Atticus. I was raised by AP parents, including that l was unschooled. I had a phenomenal childhood and hope that I can give my son the same.
I'm finishing up my residency training in emergency medicine this spring, and my husband is taking some time to be a SAHD. I'm headed back to work this coming week and can't even imagine how hard it's going to be to be away from my family.
My parenting philosophies really resonate with this board, and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!
