not a fan of the 'see who viewed your profile' thing on linkedin...

does this bug anyone else? I really don't care who viewed my profile & would rather that others did not see my name come up...sometimes I'm just looking up someone to see if I recognize them or to check their official title or because I tried to look someone up online for whatever reason & linkedin was the first thing to come up and it bugs me that they'll get a 'notification' that I looked at their profile?! How long does that stay up there, anyone know? Really weird. I don't have the premium subscription or whatever but just went on to update something today & noticed a 'notification' and was able to see that a particular person viewed my profile 3 hours ago... but no one else even though I know someone sent me a request in the last week and therefore must have viewed my profile. If you don't have the premium subscription does that feature only work for the last 24 hours or what?

    Yeah, I changed the privacy settings so that nobody knows I looked at their profile.

    OH ok good! Mine is already set to anonymous.

    Mainerocks- go to your name on top right to get drop down menu, select settings. 

    sort of in middle bottom there are a bunch of blue links, one is something like change setting to what others see when you view their profile. You can set it to your name, 'someone in XYZ field', or anonymous.
