Anyone hire the Wee Sleep Consultant?

I am at the end of my rope with getting only 2 hours sleep. I am started to feel depressed, I havent been able to get rid of this cold I've ad for a month and its affecting my relationship with DH. Everything I try doesn't work, I was thinking of hiring the Wee Sleep Consultant. It's $350 but guaranteed success. Has anyone used her?

  • I've never heard of this but I'm intrigued! If its guaranteed success why not? Sleep is priceless in my opinion. My DD sleeps fairly good at night but is a crappy napper. She gets overtired and cranky during the day.

Oh and I know all about DH issues..I bit his head off at 4AM while feeding my daughter. Sleep deprivation turns me into a monster. Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, it makes it worse.

Go for it RE the sleep consultant and let me know how it goes!

I contacted her waiting for her to get back to me with FaceTime appointment. She guarantees STTN by to weeks. $300 isn't alot of if it helps my mental health, my child's sleep and gives DH and I quality alone time.  I will keep you updated ;)

I would be skeptical. What is her "technique?" How old is your baby? What have you tried? Sometimes babies just aren't ready for long stretches.

basically you write down for a few days your LOs detailed schedule and fill out a questionnaire about your LO, thir health, etc. you then have a meeting with her where she tells you where she sees issues in routine, what your LOs patterns are and what his issues are preventing sleep. She comes up wit a step by step plan for nps, bedtime routine, what to do if he wakes, etc. she does not advocate CIO and will never tell you to leave baby unattended and upset.

DS was doing long stretches, then stopped. He all of a sudden starting having issues with startling, he would wake nd catch himself to pieces. I would comfort him nd he would scream as soon as put down.  I started swaddling him and hat seemed to help for a few days, but then he started with waking to be rocked all hours, refusing to go back down, etc. I've tried un swaddling, Woombies, pat and shush, etc. its getting progressivle worse. maybe she can look at his pattern and see something I can't nd ill b able to teach him to fall back asleep on his own. I figure its worth a shot and she is not telling me to let him scream and you get your money back. I need help.
