Hi ladies,
Just got a call with my 7dpo progesterone and it came back as a 7. Better than it was last cycle (natural) but I was on 100mg clomid this round. My RE told me it will reduce our chances of the iui being successful and I'm a bit deflated at the moment. Does anyone have experience with this or know the odds of getting a BFP with low progesterone?
Thanks all

My last injects IUI cycle (January) I had a P4 of 4.3. And that was with three follies on 75iu of Follistim for seven days of stims. I was already on oral progesterone at that point but was immediatly put on vaginal suppositories (endometrin) that day (7dpo). I got my first ever BFP four days later. Six days after my P4 of 4.3 at 7dpo I had my first beta and my p4 was up to a "normal" level. I still ended up miscarrying but not because of low progesterone. (RE assumes egg abnormality with genetics. At my age of 35 I have a 35% chance of miscarrying no matter what and fell in those odds).
Long story short. Your P4 does not determine if you're pregnant or not. It tells if you'll be able to implant naturally or not. If I had not been put on supps I am positive that I would never have seen that BFP.
I agree that you need to be put on supps asap in case this is your cycle.
IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)
IUI#5 BFN (April 2013)
