Thought it would be fun to discuss some funky food aversions! What are yours?
So far, butter is the worst for me. I can't use butter, or eat anything cooked with any significant amount of butter (e.g. grilled cheese or macaroni). To me, it smells like week-old cooked broccoli. Totally weird, right?!
Re: Weird food aversions?
BBQ sauce - bleck! ....or anything BBQ'esque; i.e. baked beans.
Not as bad as that, but still an aversion is anything overly sweet - i.e. chocolate, etc.
Same here--I really only want salty and savory foods, esp in the morning. Sweet stuff in the morning KILLS me

We go into this Hispanic store every couple weeks and it smells like fish...disgusting, nasty fish. I nearly threw up last time I was in there, I think our trips to that store are over. I think it killed my love of fish/shrimp as well.
This made me legit laugh out loud. :P
After almost 3 years of IF and a crazy roadside delivery, we are loving life with our second beautiful daughter!
I was having some issues with ground beef in the beginning. I went to cook some the one night...forced myself through it but then tried to eat it in the meal we made...something just didn't taste right to me. DH said it was fine and normal. So I didn't bother with it for almost my entire first trimester. Now i'm at 11-12 weeks and it's fine. Actually quite enjoyable! So thankfully, my carnivorous self can enjoy most of the things I love!
Now....to work on this nausea!
Same here. When the sickness first started I couldn't stomach any meat but slolwy began introducing hamburger and roast back into my diet. Last week I thought I'd try a chicken wrap...biggest mistake ever! I felt so sick afterwards I was literally leaning over the bed because I felt so sick I was spinning.
