XP: Beta # 3 not what I had hoped

Beta #1 @ 11dp5dt-93

Beta #2 @ 14dp5dt - 249 Doubling 50.67 hrs

Beta #3 @ 17dp5dt - 580 Doubling 59.82 hrs

I am starting to get really scared about this. I was already nervous and have been praying for a mindblowing beta to finally put my mind at ease, but unfortunately this isn't it at all. I honestly feel like I want to cry.... I will absolutely be a wreck if this doesn't work out. We can't replace these embryos. They will be gone forever. I have a fourth on Monday. If anyone has any encouraging words, I could really use them right now. Thank you so much!

Oh, Liz I'm so sorry your beta didn't shoot up super high! I'll be praying for your peace of mind. I've always heard that as long as the numbers are doubling that they're good. FX your LO(s) are just laid back and taking it easy in there. ((hugs))

I have no personal advice about the numbers but I've definitely seen people with non-doubling lower beta numbers have perfectly successful pregnancies.

Is there a way you can not do another beta and just wait for an ultrasound? I almost think it will be easier than analyzing every number.

These.numbers.are.killing.me. They are making my brain hurt!

And I'm analyzing them to the point where they are making me sick! I wish I could just wait until the u/s because for my mental health, I think I'd handle that better. But it sounds like my RE wants me to continue to repeat them. I will pray some more for a great beta Monday, I guess. Until then...I'm going to try to think about something else!

It's ok, don't be embarrassed! I'm sure it's hard to not see your beta as high as a lot of the other ladies'. Hang in there! I liked the suggestion one of the ladies on PAIF had...take the time to get out of the house with YH and try to take your mind off of it. I saw Safe Haven last weekend and it was so good!

This is exactly what my problem is I think. I keep seeing all of the other beta announcements and mine is by far the lowest for as far along as I am. I just wish I could land in normal-exceptional range for once and put my mind at ease. I've never been so on edge. I feel like my head is going to explode. I really might start going to a therapist again to help with this anxiety because I can tell it's not normal or healthy. Thanks for your constant support DP. It means the world.

Please try to take it easy and enjoy your early pregnancy! I'm so excited for you! I have heard so many slower betas be perfectly normal and I've also read several times that the FET take a lot longer to boost up and double. I'm thinking positive thoughts for you. This is going to turn out just perfectly!

Try not to stress. I know this is easier said than done, but honestly it's all out of your hands anyway and you've done everything you can.

Unfortunately everything related to this process requires living the answers to your questions and waiting it all out. It's normal to search for some control through all of this, especially when grasping so hard onto something you've fought so long for.

If it helps, I'm two days behind you and have had one beta. Only one. Many days I wonder if this is progressing or if my progesterone is just tricking my body, so I'm staying busy and appreciating each day for what it is.

My betas never quite doubled. They were usually more around 60 hours. You are definitely still good, with good rises! GL with #4.
