Water breaking? (Warning T.M.I)

Okay so I had something weird happen today, but I dont know who to talk to since my OB closed early today for the weekend.

Well me and my partner were in the act and I had reached "the final" and before I knew it I was gushing and I couldn't stop or hold it in. I knew it wasnt anything sexual related but I didn't think it could have been a full bladder. I didnt have any contractions or anything afterwards but I am a bit nervous, this is my first child and I know i'm embarrassed just asking for advice but I would feel better with a little piece of mind.

How do you know if your water breaks?

Honestly, if you're that worried I'd go ahead and go up to the er. It won't hurt and it will put your mind at ease. It does sound like it could have been your water breaking and I wouldn't chance it. Hope everything turns out ok.

Did you have any more leaking after getting up and walking around more? When my water broke there was an initial gush and a couple more small ones when I got up to walk to the bathroom. What PP said I would go to L&D just to make sure, my Dr. said there is an infection risk if you have sex after your water breaks. in this case it was during but probably no different risk level of infection

Ditto, I'd probably go in and get it double checked. Sounds like it could have been your water.

Was it a lot of fluid? My water broke in the car on the wy to the hospital it felt like I had peed myself but without the sensation of peeing but when I got out of the car I was soaked and there was a large wet spot on the seat. If it was just a little bit it could be a bit of pee or discharge that happens a lot in the third trimester.
