Another MP Question

So this pregnancy has been NOTHING like my other two so I always have SO many questions!

At my appointment Wednesday night I had my membranes swept. Since then every time I use the restroom I have TONS of bright red blood streaked mucus. In fact I have so much I've had to use a ton of toilet paper and had to plunge the toilet three times, haha.

I assume this is my MP. I never noticeably lost my MP before, but from what I've read this is it, right? Or is it from the membrane sweep? How long is this going to last? Seriously, it is so gross and I cannot BELIEVE how much it is each time I wipe!!! AND IT'S NEVER ENDING!!!!!!! Is this just how it is?!?

ETA How in the world did I miss this with my other two kids?!?

FTM here but sounds like bloody show to me. When I think mucus plug I think more mucus and less blood...plus isnt the plug more like a glob like snot? Sorry!! Lol If anything sounds like youre making progress!

My mucus plug was brownish, not bright red. I'd say that's bloody show.

I don't think bright red blood is ever normal for an extended period of time. Call your doc. Just my opinion.

I asked at LD Thursday cause I thought bright red blood was a no no too. But they told me as long as I don't soak through a pad in an hour it's fine. But they didn't tell me I'd be having bloody mucus for days!!!
