What are some names you like girl and boy? What are some names / types of names that you would like to avoidnbsp;girl and boy? What do you consider "unique"?It would help if you gave some direction, as the question is very vague and the word "unique"when it comes to namesis different for everyone. nbsp;
I like names that are not overused but don't sound crazy, I find myself drawn to boys names ending in"en" sound though, like Ethan,Nathan,Cameron, and my first sons name is Kaden. Everything just seems so overused.

Axel is a very real (and super cool) name of Scandinavian origin. Axl, without the E, is Mr. Rose's creation-- he was born William Bruce Rose and took the name Axl after one of his early bands.

ETA: All pedantic footnotes aside, as an American it's hard to hear Axel without thinking Rose.
