Traveling across time zones?

Popping over from the 03 board to ask a question of more experienced mamas! DD is 2 mo old and we plan to take a trip to Cali next fall when she is 10 or 11 mo. We are on the East coast so the time change is 3 hours earlier. My question is, does anyone have advice on how this affects LO's sleep schedule and attitude? We are visiting some friends without kids and plan to stay in San Fran for most of the trip they live about an hour away and do at least one day at Disneyland.

    We traveled with our LO across time zones. The only difference it made was that he was cranky because he had to pretty much stay in one spot for a few hours. His sleep scedule wasn't bad at all.

    Thanks! It will probably be a long weekend. We had so much trouble adjusting when we went to Hawaii I'm nervous, but hopefully it will just be the first day. We can plan light activities just in case.
