I don't have either but read a ton about then in the last week and think they are really accurate. DD was napping like crap and really clingy this past week and followed it with a day of total sleepiness and now she is way more focused and smiling up a storm!
I have no idea, especially since our were preemies, but DD1 flipped a switch in the past couple of days from crying allllll the time, to napping better and having these crazy long chill periods...even smiling bunches during them. She's 6w adjusted, but I wonder if she's moving more towards the 8w ish timing based on this. Who the heck knows!!

I'm a believer. I bought the book on kindle. My LO is nearing her 8th week "leap" and she's showing all the signs. They way it's helped me is knowing what to expect from my LO and keeping the worry and frustrations at bay because I realize that she's clingy and weird for a reason.
It's a little wordy. I don't care for all the real life stories, either. But overall, I find it useful.
I only downloaded the app. Its short and sweet. I agree though, my husband earlier this week said that lo was not himself. I was so worried I called the pediatrician cause I was convinced something was wrong with him. Well come to find out he is in the middle of a wonder week. Totally explains why he has been so fussy and clingy. Our 8th week leap is 11 days away.
I have both, time will tell how helpful both are. But the books are interesting. The authors were originally primatologists who studied with Jane Goodall! The regressive behaviors associated with wonder weeks occur in all primates. I thought that was cool.
We're in a wonder week right now, and the book/app are right on the mark. She's spent the week at my mil's house as this is my first week back to work and she's napped horribly and wants to play a lot. :
I ordered the book last night! I think we are at the 8 week wonder week as my LO was a horrible napper all week and was not sleeping well. I do find him to be more interested in the world around him- he could spend hours staring at our stainless steel fridge!
I just purchased this book this morning on kindle after DD basically cried inconsolably in DH's arms which is way out of character. She calmed down for me because, as DH says, I have the magic boob juice, lol. (He knows that she is a newborn, but he was still saddened by the experience). Emme is 5 weeks today so perhaps she is ramping up to her first wonder week. Sure seems like it. I'll see if DH wants to read the 5 week chapter : )
I haven't read the book, but did read up on it online. I think it has some value to it. But what I don't get is DD was born at 37.3 weeks and is still on schedule with each wonder week. Whereas the book says it goes by your due date, not LO's birth date.
Wow. I just came on here to start a thread asking what your LO's behavior was like during their growth spurt, because I've been thinking something is wrong with DS. I'm so glad I clicked on this post though. I just read up a bit online about it, and this is DS to a T! So glad I checked this first!
I am convinced that coffee is God's gift to mothers.
