I thought we were getting there

I thought we were heading towards sttn, but she took another exit.  She started sleeping 1/2 way through, last bottle at 8 or 9 and falls asleep at 10 or 11, and then waking up at 4:30-5am, but Monday she went back to waking up 3x a night, which isn't making getting up at 6am for work easy.

Re: I thought we were getting there

  • I feel your pain! Every time we get a night or two of a consistent pattern I feel like I pay for it the next night. Very ready for even a consistent 5 hour stretch each night.

  • Right there with you guys. For a week or two, it was bed at 8, wake at 12, 4, and 7.

Last night was bed at 8, wake at 11, 1:30, 3, 3:30. At that point I gave up, put him in his swing and slept next to him on he couch.  But he made it until 7:15.

    Ugh.

  • Ds2 started sleeping 7pm to 4am at 8 weeks. He had a few nights where he would wake up a few times and we dealt with it. But he started sleeping 7pm to 6am and had been doing that for the past 2 weeks... now, he's 12 weeks and woke up the last 3 nights. 2 of those nights was at 230.... DH and I get up at 330am for work.

I started work at 6 weeks which he was waking up several times a night, but I was so hoping we were over this. Being woken up an hr before having to get up when you get up that early sucks.

As I tell people at work, though, this is only for a short amount of time in the grand scheme of things.
