Why do people say the most disrespectfully crap. Yes I am almost 15 wks and my belly is a round belly bump that is noticeable ALREADY! I wake up every morning and shower everyday, I see my belly, do you think your giving me news as to the size. Matterfact what medical degree to you have to determine if my bump is small large or just right for ME! the next time someone says it, I am going to politely ask, where did they go to med school, and do they possibly know what my pre prego weight was and which pregnancy this is for me.
I agree, that is freaking irritating. I keep getting conflicting opinions, some people say I am showing and some don't see it and then they argue in front of me about whether I am showing or not.

When I announced my coteacher said " you look pretty good , haven't gained much weight, well except in your thighs" pre pregnancy I am 125lbs and she is 300to400lbs. If took everything in me not to flip *** on her! But she told me weekly how fat I was last time too. She's going to catch me on a bad day and my response will be "I'm pregnant, what's your excuse?"
I hate that! My mom was much smaller than me... She was a fitness instructor. I am by no means big at all but I am showing early. Every time she sees me she mentions how big I am for being 14 weeks and compares it to her and how she didn't show at all .
You're
I agree, that is freaking irritating. I keep getting conflicting opinions, some people say I am showing and some don't see it and then they argue in front of me about whether I am showing or not.
Lol, I was thinking 'my big what?'
My bump with DD was measuring exactly average, but was shaped like a torpedo so I stuck out farther than most women do. People made comments non-stop. Strangers would yell at me across parking lots even. It's super irritating, but you know you are a normal size. I work from home now, and don't see people I know all that often, so I haven't gotten any comments yet. The only friends I have seen since I started showing are too polite to say anything about the size of my bump, thank goodness.
People are stupid and they don't think. Don't let it bother you too much. It's either wow you're huge or wow you're so tiny. Trust me, I was on the tiny end and it was no fun.
People are so irritating! My boss said "wow you are really showing for 16 weeks... I didn't show until I was 20 some weeks and I could wear my prepregnancy jeans up until then!" Huh interesting... Thanks for that info... Do you want a goldstar!? She has also told me she was running everyday up until the day she delivered.... And?!
I already have a round belly at 15 weeks and I hate hearing people comment about how they wore their regular jeans for their entire pregnancy too,. ugh
I think no matter what people say about how you look, it's gonna bother you. Granted what OP and a lot of PPs said were genuinely rude remarks, but we're all hormonal and extra self-conscious during this time no matter what. I'm 14w, into mat pants etc. and people keep telling me "you can't even tell yet!" Really? 'Cause I feel like I am the size of a truck already and if this is only 3 mos. how am I gonna feel by the time I'm due?
I think people's comments on a pg woman's appearance should be limited to only the most super-positive, otherwise keep it to yourself. (e.g. "you're glowing" "you're such a cute pregnant lady")
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.
That's my thoughts exactly..... Please don't let them catch me on a bad day lol. And to call someone FAT while they are pregnant ughhhhh I'm really going to stop and pray!
yup... I'm not too far along and people have said "well, I'm sure the belly will eventually show" because I have the tummy chubs. I get SO MAD. especially when they try to jiggle/touch the pudge.
