The pedi was concerned last month because DD seemed to have lost weight (i don't think she did, I think it's because his nurses don't consistently weigh her naked so she was in a disposable diaper in December and a CD in January. Makes a huge difference.). He said that if she didn't seem to pick back up by this visit he may recommend going to see a specialist. DS was always below the 15th percentile so I just assumed I have small babies. She's still hitting all of her milestones, usually ahead of schedule, is alert, happy (most of the time), and doesn't seem hungry after feedings.
People (usually strangers who I should learn to ignore) keep telling me that I should just start giving her formula since she's so small. I really hope she's gained some weight so I can relax a little bit and happily tell people there isn't any concern about her health so they can back off.
Re: Wish us luck!
Good Luck! That makes me stabby when people make comments like that. My bf baby is heavier than my ff baby was at this age. Do people not realize all babys aren't the same?!
Also, this may seem random, but how has your dh's recovery been?

He's actually doing really well. He's up and walking on his prosthetic so well that most people don't know he has anything wrong with him. He's starting to run now (although he broke his running leg, go figure) and is working toward getting a snowboarding leg. It's seriously amazing how far he's come so quickly. Now we're just working on some PTSD issues, but he's getting through it. OH! And he's completely off of any pain medication, which they said he may NEVER be off. So proud of him
That is awesome. I'm so glad to hear this!
