Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

I read in a book

I read in One of my pregnancy books. That women who have morning sickness Are less likely to have miscarries I had no morning sickness whatsoever and it scared me in the back of my mind I was just wanting take a poll if the woman here who miscarried had Morning sickness. With my daughter I was so sick all the time And this time I had nothing I was just curious.

Re: I read in a book

  • I had pretty bad ms for about 1.5 weeks. Then I thought I had just gotten it under control when I started feeling better...obviously that wasn't the case though.

Every pregnancy is different. Some people never get ms and have perfectly healthy babies!

  • Loading the player...
  • I read that too and also heard it did not matter.

I had no morning sickness. All I had was tiredness. My boobs never hurt or got bigger no sickness.

The weekend before my mc was the only time I sort of felt nauseous. It was located right I the middle of my sternum right below the rib cage. Never thought anything of this but of course now. I'm always thinking.
I am glad I am not the only one that was wondering about this.

  • With my daughter I was nauseated once in awhile but my big issue was severe heartburn on top of my acid reflux which I think probably caused my nausea most of the time. I was super tired the 1st trimester, had big time food aversions and pregnancy induced migraines. Oh and the girls grew but they never hurt.

This time I had food cravings, smell aversions, some nausea, headaches again and my bbs ached so bad everyday. Things were similar but this one was a loss :

BFP #2 02/11/2013 ended in loss ectopic pregnancy
    BFP#3 07/01/2013 EDD March 11, 2014! Baby is perfect!

  • With my full term pregnancy I had morning sickness every morning for 3 weeks, horribly tired, tender breasts and boy did they GROW, and horrible food aversions.

This time around never tired, no sickness, ALWAYS hungry, horrible headaches all the time.

  • I have been pregnant 3 times. All 3 times I have had morning sickness and exhaustion. 2 of those pregnancies ended in m/c and one in a full-term healthy baby.

  • I wouldn't put too much faith in it.  I heard the same thing - the doctor was encouraged that I had morning morning sickness the whole time(I was twins so i got extra) - but still lost pregnancy at 16 weeks.  I have friends who had no sickness at all and have beautful children - everyone is different.  If there is anything I have learned from this, just because somethinggenerallty the case, it doesn't mean it will be the case for you...  The fact thatmorning sickness is a generally good sign does not mean that your lack thereof is a bad sign...

All AL always welcome in my threads!

  • I never had it. My only symptom was terrible breast pain.
  • I never had ms but had some breast tenderness. That was really the only symptom I had until m/c. The lack of ms actually worried me and now I see why, in my case anyways.

  • Thanks for the interesting post, ZebnMichelle.

I am sorry for your loss.

did not have morning sickness or soreness really. I only had pain in my abdomin, which is frustrating because I should have known that something was wrong.

Again, thanks for posting this topic. It's nice to read the comments, and to share together.

    Have a good evening,
