1. Love when I'm coming toward her to clean her face, she puts her head down and pretends she's sleeping. Fake snore, eyes open. 2. Love how long her hair is getting. 3. Love when she smells everything and says "ewwww". Even if it smells good.
Imma do one for Ds too. 1. Love how happy and content he is with just the simple things. Like watching a movie with him. 2. Love how well mannered he is. 2. Love his eyes. His eye lashes go on for days.
DD2 - I love the way she nods her head yes / shakes her head no and says "Nuh-huh" - I love how she tries to repeat words after us - I love to watch her toddle her way around. She's still mostly crawling, but watching her walk is the most adorable thing ever.
DD1 - I love her random acts of awesome manners. Like we'll be eating dinner and all of a sudden she'll go "Thank you for dinner Maman and Papa. It's realllllllly good." - I love how she picks up certain phrases and expressions. Like yesterday, DD2 fell on her butt and started crying, so DD1 looked at her and said "You bruised your ego?". Then she asked me what an ego was. lol - I love how happy she is when I put her to bed at night. It's like she's excited to go to sleep.
Annnnnd a few things I love about my daughters as a duo - I love how they are really starting to bond with each other. If we're playing on my bed and DD1 is jumping, DD2 will reach out for her big sister to hold her hands so she can jump with her. If I give something to DD1, she will ask "What about DD2?" - I also love the "fighting". I'm sure I'll be singing a different tune soon, but it's just so darn cute right when they do it - and laughable, too.
1. I love how when I'm carrying her, I'll say, "give Mommy a squeeze!" and she tightens her arms around me and flexes her little fingers and giggles. Love her hugs!
2. I love how her hair is crazy 30 seconds after I brush it. My sisters are always giggling and teasing her about her hair, but there's not much I can do about it until it gets a little longer. She's still adorable, though.
3. I love when she says, "Mama" and pats my face very gently right before she falls asleep. It's like she's letting me know that she loves me Warms my heart
1. I love his animal noises. The fact that his fishy "noises" are pretty similar to his kisses is fantastic. His elephant noise is probably my favorite though. He puts his hand to his nose and says "woooo." It is hilarious.
2. I love his weird kissing attacks. He likes to hug me around my neck and try to smother me with kisses while laughing at the same time. The more I resist, the tighter he squishes me.
3. I love how compassionate he is when I am sad. We found out on Monday that we lost our baby girl (I should have been 16 weeks pregnant today) and while I try not to cry when I am around him, it has happened a few times. He simply climbs in my lap and snuggles with me until I feel better. Last night he came into my room while I was packing away the last of my maternity clothes. He put his hands on my face and patted me until I stopped crying and then instantly shifted to "snack" and "eat eat" mode. He definitely cheers me up when things have gone to crap.
1. When I ask her to give me some "lovin" she will run straight up to me. First comes a hug, then a high five, and then occasionally a kiss at the end. Melts my heart!
2. How she is learning very fast the "no-no"s of the house. The garbage, my full coffee cup on the table, TV remotes, my knitting, my phone, etc. She will point and go "No no momma! No no!" and then pokes it and runs away.
3. Her insane language explosion. Colors, objects, etc. DH was teaching her colors the other day and she really picked up "booo" and "wew-oow" (yellow and blue). She can even point to yellow and blue things. Two and three word sentences. Its really helped with tantrums. Instead of flipping out because she is hungry and needs an extra snack, she comes up to tell me "Momma food, yum yum". It has really helped me not hate her moods most days!

1. I love how DD2 calls everything that comes out of the kitchen or resembles something that comes out of the kitchen "num-num". She also often refers to people who give her food as "num-num". Adorbs.
2. I love how DD1 just loves to be with me.
3. I love when DD1 plays with DD2. She's the only one who can make DD2 legitimately laugh - like, real belly laughs.
1. Despite that I am not a morning person and would rather stay in bed until 8am, I love that DS wakes up happy and energetic...even if it means that I have to get up at 6:30. He's often kind enough to entertain himself until 7:00/7:30, so it seems like we have an understanding now: You let Mommy snooze, Mommy is more likely to give you a yummy breakfast and not get upset when you throw Cheerios on the floor.
2. I love that he's a reasonably easy-going child. When he gets upset or gets into mischief, it's usually because I'm being a slacker and not paying attention. He makes me be a better person.
3. I love that he's such a sponge right now - he absorbs everything, including behaviors and language. This also makes me be a better person since I have to think before I act or say anything for fear that he'll pick up my bad habits.
