Light pink and light green, bedding has butterflies. Honestly didn't plan it, we just looked at what we received at our shower and it made the most sense. Walls are light green, curtains are pink.
I kind of wanted to go with a light pink and more of a blue-teal color or purple and grey but I like the way it turned out, and more importantly, DH likes it too (I think it's been hard for him to get excited for the little pink dresses and headbands that make all of the women go crazy so I've been trying to get his input on as many things as possible)
I was set on designing a nursery around something I saw on Pinterest using Michael Miller's Zoology in Sea fabric. But my designer fell through at the last minute so I went to Joann's to see if I could come up with anything on my own. After seeing some fabrics I feel in love with I remembered this bedding set someone made: https://www.positivelysplendid.com/2012/01/ruffled-crib-skirt-tutorial-nursery-bedding-reveal.html, and I went with that inspiration!
I have a black with white polka dot fabric, a turquoise damask fabric, and a green chevron fabric. I'm pretty excited about how they're looking together so far but I still have a lot left to complete!
We did a vintagy/shabby chic nursery. Walls are grey, furniture is white, accents are light pink. My H refinished a really beautiful French Provicinal dresser, I love it! Here is a link to some pictures...
Our house is done in grey's and pink. We have american restoration hardware furniture. My computer died and I lost all my pictures, (I have them backed up, but it is in Florida and we are currently in Canada.) It has now become a double nursery. I have a six month old, and we were given custody of a newborn and a two year old at the beginning of this month. The two littles (both girls) are going to share a room. We dismantled our office and turned it into a bedroom for the 2 year old, and then each of my big girls have their own rooms. They are 5 & 7.
Our cottage is currently a three bedroom. Baby's nursery is done in dark purple and green with white Ikea furniture. The two big girls have a outdoors theme. My parents built them bunks that resemble a tree fort and there is a mural painted around the walls to make it look outdoors.
What is your nursery Theme and Colors? I need some inspiration for some design projects!
Bonus for links and pictures!
