Hello ladies! I have lurked here over a month, read the new blog, and the newbie post. I promise to not ask you all if I am "totes knocked up" or if I am experiencing implantation bleeding.
A little background: I am 24 and DH is 26. We have been together for 8 years and married for a little over a year and a half. We have two terrible Dachshunds, and have decided to finally start our family. I am a nursing home administrator, and DH is a video editor and photographer.
I have already learned so much from you all and am currenly using Wondfo OPKs, checking CM when I can, and temping my BBT.
Now my question: I just got off BC the first day of January and last month I had a 31 day cycle. This month I got my first OPK on CD 19, then negatives on CD 20 and 21. I have now had positive OPKs CD 22, 23, and 24. I know this is probably due to my body gearing up to O, it not happening, and then trying again.
I am expecting to O soon, or to have O'd in the past 2 days, but I woke up at 4:52 this morning with a BBT of 97.37. I got up to pee, let my dogs out, and went right back to sleep. At 6:30, my regular temp time, my BBT was up to 97.61. I know you should "always use the first temp" but when I used a BBT corrector, it shows my estimated correct temp would have been 97.69, not far off from the 97.61 I got at 6:30.
Should I discard today's temp and just see what it is tomorrow, or should I go ahead and put in the 97.37 from 4:52 and just note the 97.61?
I need to train my dogs to not need to go outside before my temp time so close to O!

Re: Intro and Question
Welcome!
I'd use the first temp but type the 6:30 temp in the notes section for later reference.
As for the temp, use the first one. Each single temp is not important. It's the pattern that you're looking for. One temp won't make a difference unless its combine with several other high temps which should indicate O. Your chart doesn't look like you have O'ed. Keep peeing on sticks and I hope your cycle will regulate soon. Even though you had an average length cycle last month it may take a few additional months to regulate.
But you're doing the right thing by using opks and temping. Now, you just have to wait for your body to get its act together. Be patient and keep humping it out.
Good luck!
