It turns out that I am now lactose intolerant. This has been the most dreadful 36+ hours ever. On Monday, milk was fine for me. On Tuesday, it all went down hill.
I went to the doctor yesterday because I thought I was dying, in labor, or UTI. This happened to my mom when she was pregnant as well. The pain is so intense that my back and hips are aching as well. The pain has decreased today but I still can't stand straight from the current pain.
The doctor said this can happen quickly. I googled it and its not uncommon. Out of work yesterday, out of work today, maybe tomorrow. I seriously cannot believe the pain from this.
Through it all, LO has been fine. The first night, while I was moaning in agony, she was bouncing around. Yesterday, she gave me a little break. Today she is back to her usual self. Happy to know that she is not being affected by any of my pain.
Update: finally 48 hours later, I can stand without cringing in pain. My boss sent me a very nice email to stay home and concentrate on the baby. I'm taking tomorrow off as well. I had very little going on and my energy level is zero and my belly aches. What an awful experience.
