Yes. But only if the car is parked and if one of them is sleeping. I always keep extra snacks with me. It's a good distraction from waking up their brother.

If I know we're going to be driving around snack time (which typically happens when we make the 2 - 22.5 hour drive to my parents), then yes, I bring food for them to eat on the way.
Usually those snacks will be a fruit pouch, mum mum crackers, cheese, or fruit.
Yes, but rarely. I will when we're on a really long road trip and I'm back there with her or if I had to coerce her into getting into her seat (and then I'll only let her suck on a fruit pouch if I happen to have one).

Yup. But I only really offer snacks to her for longer trips, which are rare. 98% of our outings are within 10-20 mins from home. Or, I will offer on the rare occasion that we have to be somewhere at a specific time, and she is starving when it's time to leave the house.
OMG, my car is disgusting. Old goldfish crumbs under his seat...bleh. Thanks for reminding me I should be cleaning it instead of Bumping.
If anything, he gets a sippy cup and crackers. I used to give him food pouches, but he fell asleep with them one too many times and squeezed them out in his sleep. Crumbs I can deal with, food pouch mess I cannot. I'm weaning him off of eating crackers in the car, though - it's just a bad habit that we formed when we were traveling so much over the holidays, and I just wanted him to be happy and not throw a fit.
I'm still kind of scared he will choke to death so I waffle back and forth. Sometimes he just wants to eat! Who can blame him?
If you want to have the option of giving him something to eat while you're on the road but are worried about the choking hazard, I think I would start with those early stages puffs and crackers (the ones that dissolve really quick). Bonus: You can just keep them in your glove box and they won't go bad.

Yes, but it's not a regular thing.

Usually its easy to clean up. Raisins, fruit snacks, chopped apples, etc.
She is a beast in the car, and its usually the only thing that keeps her happy.
