Bad Timing...

So I have been using OPK's and just started temping this week trying to see if I ovulate while waiting for my first AF after stopping nursing. I used the OPK yesterday morning and it was negative, then in the afternoon and it was positive! And, positive again this morning. The bad news is DH is out of town! We DTD on Monday night before he left. I am temping to see when I actually O, but not an expert at it yet. Do you think I have any hope if we DTD Monday night and if I O today or tomorrow or who knows when really...? Looks like we will probably have to try again next time :(

    Technically, yes, you do still have a 20% chance if you O'ed today because Monday would have been -3. Sperm can last this long in an ideal environment.

    You are not alone. I got a opk last Sunday night and another the next day. DH left for the week Sunday night so we HIO that morning. FF says I Od Thursday. We HIO Friday night when he got home. If FF is right our timing was O minus 4 and O plus 1. Not very good. I'm trying to stay positive in case I Od earlier then what FF predicts but I guess I'll know in a week or so.

    Those damn jobs getting in the way. Good luck.
